I. You’re not the judge ……… God is.
We love to put God on trial. “Why would He allow this?” But if He fits in your logic, He’s not God. And the truth of the matter is we’ll stand before Him, not the other way around.
II. This broken world isn’t His doing.
God made the world good. It was sin that shattered it, we opened the door to suffering. Evil, pain and death, all this, is the fallout of rebellion. God didn’t break the world, we did.
III. Inspite of the mess, Jesus Christ entered into it.
God didn’t ignore the chaos. He sent His only son Jesus Christ into it. He walked through the suffering, died to overcome it, and rose to promise us something beyond it.
IV. All the disasters aren’t just random they’re wake-up calls.
Tragedy is more than pain, it’s a message. Every global crisis, every personal loss is a megaphone: Repent. Return. Realign. The goal is transformation.
V. You won’t always understand, but you can still trust.
You don’t need all the answers to take the next step. Faith in Jesus Christ means trusting in Him to know everything that happens in this world.
1 Prompt
What pain or confusion have you used to question God? Think about it, write it down and ask yourself “What might God be saying to me through this?”
